The Afghanis are fortunate that Bush was in the White House on 9/11 and now Trump. Because many of us would have no hesitation to nuke this place into a radioactive hell and be done with it....

The Washington Post is a sack of sh*t.

I don’t have a problem with that, as long as they are the right 10 million: terrorists and Taliban, but I repeat myself.
To: KingofZion
He also urged the president to avoid civilian casualties in Afghanistan, which reached record highs last year.
How many of those civilian casualties were caused by US Forces?
Less than the Taliban and the corrupt government, I’m sure.

Yes, you’re right.
I heard President Trump’s remarks about Afghanistan and the WaPo went out of its way to create a story where there was none, save for POTUS’ crisp remarks.

Get rid of the 10 million, and then send our 30 million Illegals there. A Win-Win situation!

It has become the longest war in U.S. history. Pure BS. Swatting mosquitoes is not a war. If it had been a real war, it would have been over in ten days. Trump was just stating the obvious.

Spray the ‘DRUG FARMS’ with potent stuff so they can’t raise a crop for a few years !
That’ll change their attitude...

The terrorists are “civilians” — they don’t wear a uniform.
But killing them is a good thing, not a bad one.
The terrorists are the ones who are killing many true civilians living there.

I thought Prince Obama ended that war??????

Trump is speaking a truth. The only way to really control the place is a Carthaginian peace - literally destroy everything, remove or kill everyone, and start again.
Hindsight says once the Taliban were overthrown, the country should have been set on fire while on our way out. Instead we got more nation-building bullshit.
How to prevent Muslim terrorists from coming back? You can’t - so have a complete travel ban from nearly all Muslim countries into the USA.

Can some1 tell #DonaldTrump in order to wipe Afg off the face of the earth, he must get rid of 32 million Afghans, not just 10 mil. He didn't say he would wipe Afghanistan off of the face of the Earth, Rana. Try and pay attention when the adults are speaking.

The president is right 10mil would do it. Just hit the trouble spots like along the Pakistan border. No need to kill everyone.

President Trump is wrong here. It would not take even 10 days.

The Constitution of Afganistan is explicitly Islamic. It was a mistake from the beginning to support any country so constituted. Islam is inherently evil.

Exactly. Probably less than 10 million of them are concentrated around Kandahar Province and other hotbeds of terrorism. Another 10 million of them are in areas controlled by the Northern Alliance tribes who were helpful and hospitable to us . . . see my Freeper page for details.
This leaves roughly 12 million in the middle (including Kabul) who are problematic to sort out.
