Actually, you are correct. The European aristocracy - including the British Royal Family - is all-in on leftist globalism. There must be a tacit understanding that their privilege will be protected; perhaps they are useful as distractions for the masses, as a kind of gauze covering the fact that tradition is being systematically dismantled.

And the EU's "top-down" approach is utterly in form. When the left constantly uses the term "democracy," as in "Trump is a threat to democracy," you know that democracy is in their crosshairs. The left wants a one-party "democracy" in which all real choice has vanished.
