I read all about it on the Freeper Q site a long time ago. Old news to me. It seems there are too many embedded political enemies in the system to have justice served immediately.
“Justice” can wait. Rounding them all up, however, shouldn’t be too difficult. Imagine how many songbirds we’d have at this point.
It seems there are too many embedded political enemies in the system to have justice served immediately.
For me, having justice served would mean two things:
1) For Donald Trump to lead the nation into an era of conservative political dominance; i.e., discredit the fake news, defeat Democrats and RINOs, secure Donald Trumps reelection, hold the Senate, win back the House - not just for the next four years, but for decades to come. We deserve this - the MSM and DNC have strayed so sharply to Left of American values that they can only win by lying and cheating. They have betrayed the public trust. Justice for me would mean ending the Left’s dishonest media monopoly and eliminating their ill-gotten political advantages.
2) For Obama and all of the treasonous co-conspirators in his administration and in his weaponized intelligence agencies and departments to serve real jail time for their abuse of power.
I am not sure both of these can happen because, for whatever reason, the American people are distrustful of heavy-handed DOJ actions. History shows that they view it as one party using the justice system to destroy political adversaries in the opposition party. Impeaching Clinton backfired on the Republicans even though Clinton deserved much worse than he got. Many people think Watergate backfired on Democrats, leading to Ronald Reagans double landslides. Going back much further, McCarthys heroic battle against the very real communist infestation within the federal government got spun around so that, to this day, regard him and his fellow spy hunters as the bad guys.
I think that Donald Trump believes (with good reason) that if he were to push his DOJ into aggressively prosecuting and jailing top Obama officials the American people would misunderstand it and public opinion would turn against him.
So, if I had to choose one form of justice - 1) or number 2) above, Id choose number 1) hands down - I think thats what President Trump is doing - thats why none of these crooks are going to jail and never will.
Its disappointing, I know, but the consolation prize might be an era of political dominance by the good guys.
