The Trump administration announced plans Monday to speed up deportations for illegal immigrants in the interior, applying the same standards that have been at play at the border to now apply to the country as a whole.
With more illegal immigrants managing to sneak into the interior amid the border surge, the new powers are necessary to be able to oust them from the communities where they end up, acting Homeland Security Secretary Kevin McAleenan said in a notice published online officially announcing the new policy.
The aggressive move is already drawing threats of lawsuits from the American Civil Liberties Union, and immigration experts said it marked a major shift in who could be targeted for speedy deportations.
At issue is what’s known as expedited removal, a process written into the law that allows the government to oust illegal immigrants without needing to go through a full removal process with multiple levels of review.
Expedited removal has for years been used on border jumpers caught within 100 miles of the border and within weeks of their arrival. The Trump administration now says it should be used nationally and on migrants who arrived in the last two years.
“The volume of illegal entries, and the attendant risks to national security and public safety presented by these illegal entries, warrants this immediate implementation of DHS’s full statutory authority over expedited removal,” Mr. McAleenan said in the notice.

I know there has been resistance from both parties, courts and every department of Fedzilla, but this NEEDS to happen.
We MUST restore the rule of law.

Some judge will slap this down.
It will wind up at SCOTUS in about a year or so.
Trump will say “I tried” and reap tremendous political benefits.
But, the problem will remain.

The only thing he said in this sentence is “full statutory authority over expedited removal,”
The other stuff is crap. They are here illegally. They are invaders. They have no right to be here. Every citizen should want them thrown out but I know they don’t.
No borders, no enforcement, no country. I guess that is what the rats want. No country.
It needs to go warp speed.
I'll bet this guy is puken blood at having to implement this policy and he will slow walk it as much as he can get away with.
Time to tell these black robed POS to go to hell. What will they do? NOTHING.
Lotsa promises. But we've been hearing them for awhile.
I wish they would stop ANNOUNCING this and just make it happen. Every time they broadcast the left goes to the court. If it was just happening, it would be done. Sometimes QUIET is best.

This is, if true and actually implemented, VERY good news. It would make the existence of the citizenship question on the 2020 census much less of an issue, as a lot of the non-citizens who would (FRAUDULENTLY) vote will be reduced considerably. Let’s make the Dems rely on their old stand-by, the dead.

Why would you say that?
This entire fight is about a) Demonrats wanting more illegal aliens in-country so they can vote, and b) the Forces of Good removing them to Mexico so that they cannot vote and thus cannot corrupt our 2020 election.
