Here is my take on the whole Trump Tax thingy. I believe there is nothing in them, but Trump is purposely blocking the Democrats to keep them obsessed and occupied over nothing, manipulating them. And when Trump no longer needs this distraction, like just before the 2020 presidential debates, he’ll release them and the Dems will see this raft deflate in seconds.... Thoughts anyone?
I don’t think President Trump will release his tax returns. The returns maybe hundreds of pages of IRS forms and back up documentation. Since tax law is open to interpretation even among experts, it would not be difficult to get an ‘expert’ to disagree with certain tax aspects of President Trump’s tax filings. The anti-Trumpers would have non stop ‘experts in the news 24/7 talking about Trump’s returns legality. Since tax law is very complicated, the average American would be lost with all of this and just think Trump cheated.
The problem with releasing the tax info is that they are likely to be complex and confusing, which means the Dems can say almost anything they want and few will be able to contest.
