Merrill Field reached the 90 degrees mark once before, but this is “the warmest temperature ever measured in the Anchorage Bowl,” tweeted Alaskan climatologist Brian Brettschneider.”
So...... not the hottest day. Measurements moved from one rural place to the urban core.
