This guy slithers out from under bushes.
George Will is the Benedict Arnold of today.
He thinks his crowd will win. He may very well be right.
Right now, we are at Valley Forge, and George is in Philadelphia. He’s made his choice.
Hopefully, it won’t work out for him.
Go visit McCain, George.
He’s the epitome of the PNG - pencil neck geek.
With a bow tie no less.
George Will of the ‘Grey Poupon’ Party.
re: “George Will on the need to defeat Trump”
Idiot.
Left wing nutters are doing long term damage to America’s civic culture via their refusal to accept the results of an election
what is more annoying is so called “conservative” commentators giving positive reviews and having this Quisling on to sell his new book. I expect that from uber GOPE sycophants like Jonah Goldberg, but there have been many hawking his book and positive coverage... Dan Profft so called conservative at WIND 560- I am talking to you
“the long-term damage he thinks Trump is doing to America’s civic culture.”
WTF does that even mean? I found this online:
“A political culture characterized by (1) most citizens’ acceptance of the authority of the state, but also (2) a general belief in participation in civic duties. ... The civic culture is seen as an allegiant political culture in which political participation is mixed with passivity, trust, and deference to authority.” (Guess that means, “bow to The Swamp”.)
It still makes little sense, and what sense it does make has nothing to do with Trump and his presidency. We who elected Trump are tired of “political participation is mixed with passivity, trust, and deference to authority”, and that’s why we elected him.
Will, Goldberg, Kristol, etc., can go piss up a rope.
Shut the H^^l up George. Nobody cares, not even the libs.
Have a nice day, and please shut the F up!
Americas civic culture that includes everything we don’t like, stuff it will
Yes, the opposite of McCain's death where 'elites' preened their sorrow for cameras... and of course the press - the handmaidens of corrupt DC elites cried with the elites.
When Trump dies it will be more like Reagan - people will line the streets and the press will hold their noses and try to fake a little respect.
George Will was under the impression Washington DC was a private club for elites - and every four years peasants were allowed to chose a figurehead to keep the club interesting.
Yeah, George Will is the perfect "media conservative." Part of the swamp, stupid bow tie and poindexter glasses, one of those terrible hair pieces like John Kerry, and spends half his camera time casting furtive, loving glances at Cokie Roberts.
Liberals would love for all conservatives to be George Will. He ineffectually snuffles that things would be "oh so wonderful" if only anyone would implement his programs, but is unwilling to do the hard work necessary to implement the programs.
Will made a pretty profitable gig for himself, being the Washington Generals to the Democrat Globetrotters. His expiration date is over, and he now hangs on by a thread, like Madonna, hoping someone will pay attention to his dried out carcass.
Trump is a boor at the DC cotillion. Elitists like Will would rather lose without him than win with him.
Bow tie guys think they’re nonconformist & stand apart from the pack.
Will also thinks he’s faculty club cool. That’s his world.
“When Trump dies it will be the opposite... the 300 DC elites will stay home and millions of citizens will mourn Trumps death...”
Let’s hope and pray that’s YEARS off!
Why don’t you just write about Yogi Berra? Get out of politics until you grow up.
Amen to that...
