I say over and over that part of the emancipation of slaves should have been to repatriate every last one of them for humanitarian reasons. Making them instant citizens has not turned out so well nor was letting the Democrat Party do and say whatever the hell it wanted up to today. We are losing this nation rapidly.
The communist Republicans who started the war and have built the govt into a huge monstrocity of over taxation and the elites reaping the benefits. Made them citizens so they could help put in the puppet govt in the south after the war.
