The trade war between China and the United States isnt a conflict that will remain confined to the economy. Its a risky play in a new Cold War.
--
Much has been written about the economic wisdom and potential effects of the Sino-American trade war. Yet few understand that the trade war is just one front in what we should view as the Second Cold War.
China seems to be in the lead in developing and employing technologies like artificial intelligence, hypersonic missiles, and 5G (which has extensive defense and intelligence system applications). Together, these technologies could create a strategic military advantage for China as early as the next decade, putting China in a position to challenge or even defeat the United States.

He is the FIRST US president who has.
But, the massive trade deficit continue.
China is where it is today through theft brought to you by corrupt Washington politicians.
they are bankrollin Sleepy Creepy Joe Biden’s campaign - look for China to buy off the corrupt media soon
Everyone has been selling out to China for the last 30 years.
Democrats. Republicans. Companies. Our media.
Our schools. Our real estate people.
Everyone.
Very true. Its a shame.
But how did China get this knowledge? By studying in US Universities and also stealing US technology.
First step is to block ALL Chinese students from studying in the US.
Yes. our trade deficit with China is so massive and deep seated, that it was never going to be fixed in a short period of time.
Will probably take years, even with Trump hammering away at it during his 2 term Presidency.
I do not think Trump “hammering away” at the Chinese will do a thing. No matter how long.
What will work, however, is what Trump has just touched upon. He needs to aggressively use them, much higher than the current levels.
Tariffs.
Much, much more aggressively, than he has thus far.
Ten times as large. And he needs to employ them now.
Tme latest meme from the NWO is that the US should allow the Chinese economy a “soft landing”.
It just goes on and on...
“China is where it is today through theft brought to you by corrupt Washington politicians.”
Yup! Our Government, at all levels has sold us out to China, and the rest of the world for that matter for decades.
That’s precisely what “hammering away” is in this context. Tariffs. Something no other President was willing to take on. He’s taking it to em.
China develops almost nothing. Creativity is simply not a significant part of their culture.
Together, these technologies could create a strategic military advantage for China as early as the next decade, putting China in a position to challenge or even defeat the United States.
Could. Maybe. In the future. So let's not even trouble anyone to et close to the mere possibilities. Liberals are the most craven folks on earth... possibly even worse than the French!
Not yet.
Meanwhile, just last year, China ran the single largest trade surplus against America, that any country in the entire history of the WORLD has ever run, against any other country.
Ever.
China is in a much weaker position than many people think, they will collapse and we will survive.
China has been rolling all over us, for the entire last generation and a half.
Even this year, they “only” grew at 6.5%.
That is DOUBLE anything we have done, in the entire last 27 years.
Trump, you said you would do something.
That is why you won. So stop fighting with democrats for a few weeks, and start fighting for America.
That is why you won.
They fake all their numbers and they built their economy like a Ponzi scheme, Trump is doing something and he will do more.
China’s economy wasn’t sustainable in the long run anyway but it will fail much sooner now thanks to Trump.
They are sending us, all the things, which we used to make right here.
They are supporting us.
China, is supporting America.
Much of trade is "baked into the cake" as some may say. It can't be turned around in a few news cycles.
It will take time, something most in this country have no patience for.
