CNN's Democratic debate live drawing finished third in the cable news ratings race last night, attracting 1.03 million viewers according to early Nielsen Media Research.
In the 8 p.m. EDT hour, "Tucker Carlson Tonight" finished first among the three major cable news channels with more than 3.2 million viewers and 497,000 in the 25- to 54-year-old demographic prized by advertisers.
MSNBC's "All In with Chris Hayes" took second with 1.66 million viewers, followed by CNN for the debate drawing special. In the younger demographic, MSNBC delivered 239,000 viewers while CNN took in 223,000 in the category.
The debates will take place on July 30 and 31 in Detroit.
The live drawing over the full hour produced a rematch of 2020 Democratic front-runner and former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) that will take place on the second night.
Biden and Harris clashed in the first Democratic primary debate on NBC, MSNBC and Telemundo on June 17, ultimately resulting in improved polling numbers for Harris.
Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) will also face off for the first time against Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) on July 30.
If people wanted gibberish they could watch that French Channel ,you know the one from France
What is a debate “drawing”?
i got bored simply reading the two lists ...
unless we get some more “raise your hands” questions, those two debates are likely to be an even bigger snooze-fest than the first two ...
“Gotta wonder how long Warner will put up with CNN. Their advertising revenues must be plummeting and it seems, by now, CNN must be losing money.”
it all depends upon how much they hate Trump and all the things he stands for ...
The drawing with crayons that all the candidates had to make, of an “evil orange man”.
They are really use to that position, let them keep it...
Not a chance. Too many CNN qnd other media are related directly to law makers, the ruling class in general.
They are so entangled, as to be inseperable.
It is one of the reasoms media is all in for the ruling class.
They'd have more viewers if the showed reruns
of Sponge Bob Square Pants.
Did Fox have more younger viewers than CNN and MSNBC combined? And I thought the left had a lock on the young vote.
