New Poll: Majority Support Trump's Deportation Raids

President Trump has repeatedly announced and discussed a series of Immigration and Customs Enforcement raids to remove hundreds-of-thousands of illegal aliens with final deportation orders. According to the administration, some were carried out last weekend.

The raids have prompted Democrats and their allies in the media to again accuse the Trump administration of unfairly targeting illegal aliens. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and the ACLU have offered direct coaching and advice about how to evade deportation.

“If ICE agents don’t have a warrant signed by a judge, a person may refuse to open the door and let them in,” Pelosi says of the #ICEraids

"A new wave of ICE arrests is expected to begin this Sunday in at least 10 cities across the country. We're fighting back by suing to stop mass deportations of refugee families," the ACLU sent in a fundraising email last week. "Know this: We don't have to open the door if ICE comes knocking. If the agents don't have a warrant signed by a judge, then we can refuse to let them in. We have the right to remain silent. And we shouldn't sign anything before speaking to a lawyer."

"ICE raids are nothing new. But for over two years now, the Trump administration has been terrorizing our communities at a new level – tearing thousands of families apart, spreading fear and hate. If this isn't the kind of country we want to live in, then we must keep fighting to defend our communities," the email continues. "The best way to fight back? Know your rights. And help your family, friends, and neighbors to know theirs."

And of course presidential candidates piled on.

President Trump’s ICE raids are inhumane. His scare tactics solve nothing. We shouldn't be terrorizing communities and splitting up families. We should provide a pathway to citizenship and find a lasting solution.— Joe Biden (@JoeBiden) July 13, 2019

But according to new POLITICO/Morning Consult polling, the majority of American voters support the raids.

Further, a majority believe there is a problem or a crisis at the southern border with Mexico.

Meanwhile, Democrats continue to advocate for open borders and the abolishment of ICE.

They are not RAIDS as the media loves to use in headlines but ICE is enforcing the law.

One thing that tickles me is some of the cartel guys for years have owned huge nice homes here in the US where they stash their family. In the last week I have seen articles about at least 5 of them being arrested at their nice US homes. Most have arrest warrants and deportation orders both here they have accumulated over the years and yet for some reason they are rarely disturbed at their fine US properties. That has changed. I would think it may have had the effect of many of them gathering their families up and taking them back to Mexico.

ICE is out and about gathering up people with deportation orders, but the media isn’t going to report on anything that might make Trump look good even to his supporters.

The media is looking for that sympathetic story or someone gathered up through mistaken identity or something that makes Trump look bad then they will be all over that story.

Can’t speak for the rest of the country but in Georgia, if a wanted individual is in THEIR residence a search warrant is not needed. If they’re not in THEIR residence, once the person who has control of the location is advised of the status of the wanted individual and they do not cooperate, search warrant is obtained and they can be arrested for harboring a fugitive.

The very laws these clowns write and pass allow for a lot. Shame none of them read or know what’s in them.

Deportation Raids?? Haven’t seen a single one yet here in Los Angeles, where over 1 Million Illegal Aliens reside. Hell there are over 100,000 within a 3 mile walk here in Pacoima.
