AOC is in Congress because she got 15,000 votes in a primary.
AOC won the 14th district of NYC by a mere 11,000 votes.
Of the nearly 250,000 registered voters in her district, only 20% bothered to show up in the polls in November 2018.
Yet, here she is, acting as if she could impose her agenda on the whole country.

Can’t imagine any republican winning in that district.
But not many could imagine Trump winning 3 years ago...

It’s not too far from that other Jamaica...maybe it includes it, or part of it? I’ll have to check a more detailed map.

This may not be the typical milquetoast Republican who folds like a cheap suit when confronted.
People mention race, but she surprisingly won that primary with white votes. Minorities voted for Crowley.

There are three of them now who have declared they are running in the Republican primary.
NY has become an illegal haven almost as bad as California. I left NY when “I like Ike” metal pins were worn by most in way upstate Plattsburgh,
It will be sad to see AOC go, it’s rare to see a public figure able to deliver comic relief like she has.
She can only lose to a primary challenger though. A Republican will never win NY 14.
It would be fantastic if that district elects a republican just to get rid of AOC.
