Died with his boots on, just like William F. Buckley, Jr. Prayers up. Sad to see him go. Always a good read.

I believe it was 2003 when I lived and worked in the DC area and called the paper to comment on something.
Wesley Pruden answered the phone and we spoke for a few minutes. He was so friendly and kind.
He is in Heaven now.

Sad news. His column was just on yesterday's Times. Always worth reading. Insightful and funny.

One of the good ones. Likely died of a massive stroke or MI.

I remember a long, long time ago there was a slight typo in his column that mixed up a ladies society with Bill Clinton in an hilarious way. My brother did a fantastic Clinton imitation so I called and conferenced in my brother to his phone number. We got the voicemail and my brother left a message as Bill Clinton asking where is the ladies society? Plus a lot of other jokes as “Bill Clinton.” I hope he enjoyed it!

I will truly miss reading his always entertaining columns.

Back in the 1990’s I used to subscribe to the weekly edition of the Washington Times. Always enjoyed Pruden’s columns. A hard hitting, humorous, skilled writer.
To: libstripper
Introduced to him via G Gordon Liddy’s daily radio show during which he would read and comment on various articles from the Times including Pruden’s. Became a subscriber to that paper because of it.
