A Minnesota City Council in Rep. Ilhan Omar’s district abruptly reversed course Tuesday; reinstating the Pledge of Allegiance after dropping the patriotic oath from their meetings weeks ago.
“A Minnesota city council on Monday reportedly agreed to reinstate the Pledge of Allegiance at meetings, weeks after the group sparked a widespread — and high-reaching — backlash by removing the pledge’s recital,” reports Fox News.
“I’ve concluded that I made a mistake and I’m sorry and I’m asking for forgiveness,” city council member Steve Hallifan said

This tells me that not enough people got out and voted in that district last time.
