Note, in the new fascism they replace foreigners -- hated/feared in Germany -- with conservatives, hated/feared by "liberals" (aka the new fascists). Instead of advocating for protecting German bloodlines and citizens the new fascism places certain demographic groups (eg. homosexuals, muslims, illegals) above all others - extending to them disproportionate consideration. Make these substitutions on the field and the modern day liberal platform & tactics starts to look a whole lot like the Nazi party platform of old. That's only natural. Both are a reflection of the same very old ideas - the lust for power and control.
So while the names may have changed, the nature of the beast has not.
