Democratic presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke revealed on Twitter Sunday that he and his wife Amy are both descended from slave owners.
“Something that we’ve been talking about in town hall meetings – the legacy of slavery in the United States – now has a much more personal connection,” O’Rourke said. “I was recently given documents showing that both Amy and I are descended from people who owned slaves.”
O’Rourke included a link to a medium.com article he wrote titled “Rose and Eliza,” in reference to two slaves one his distance relatives owned.

Basically, what he is saying...is that his family was loaded with money/assets, and very much ‘well-to-do’. They screwed over blacks in the 1800s, and have continued the act even today. Nothing in 200 years, has changed.

O’Rourke is using the fallacy that knowledge is passed on by blood. I have ancestral connection with Robert the Bruce. That does not make me good with the sword.

In an America where inanimate 150-year-old Confederate monuments are being destroyed in the name of social justice because they remind people who were never slaves of systemic racism, how can Robert O’Rourke and Kamala Harris, whose descendants owned slaves be allowed to run for President, when they have the contaminated racist blood of “America’s original sin” coursing through their living veins?
Why haven’t these two living monuments to racial oppression, suffering and death withdrawn from Presidential contention and fallen on their swords as a final act of racial contrition and social justice? And, why haven’t race grievance groups like Black Lives Matter, New Black Panthers, Nation of Islam, and race-baiting Pied Piper’s like Obama, Sharpton, Farrakhan and Jackson demanded their political heads on a platter?
What if they were Republicans instead?
So that makes them authentic oppressive white people.
Things like chains, whips, cotton balls, birth certificates of babies fathered by his slave-owning ancestors, and the like.
