I've also been thinking that Epstein's frantic push to stay out of jail (offered putting up $70 million house, grounding his jets, full-time surveillance, etc) is based on two factors--possibility of flight, security (probability of staying alive).

Most of what I've read focuses on flight risk, but like you, I think he should be worried about "stayin' alive."

I’m thinking the probability of staying alive is the reason. Criminals have a Code of Conduct believe it or not. One code they do not break is don’t mess with children. They have no tolerance for pedophiles. IF he goes to jail, he may very well wake up one morning dead.

Honestly, a quick death would be preferable to the Saudi way. Epstein is in deep doo doo whether he talks or not. And the info is probably still out there somewhere so even without him the other perps can never relax; they are still owned forever.
