Warren pledges to create commission to investigate 'crimes committed by the United States against immigrants'
Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) said Saturday that she will create a commission to investigate "crimes committed by the United States against immigrants" if she is elected president.
“On my first day, I will empower a commission in the Department of Justice to investigate crimes committed by the United States against immigrants,” she said at the progressive Netroots Nation conference.
Warren accused President Trump of looking the other way at abuse, but said she will not do so.
“To anyone out there who’s working in this system, understand you abuse immigrants, you physically abuse immigrants, you sexually abuse immigrants, you fail to get them medical care that they need, you break the law of the United States of America and Donald Trump may be willing to look the other way, but President Elizabeth Warren will not,” she said.
She also said that we need to treat those who come to the U.S. "with humanity and we need to follow the law."
Warren this week unveiled her immigration plan which included designating a Justice Department task force to investigate accusations of medical neglect and physical and sexual assault and "give it independent authority to pursue any substantiated criminal allegations."
"Let there be no ambiguity on this: if you are violating the basic rights of immigrants, now or in the future, a Warren administration will hold you accountable," she wrote in a Medium post.
Warren is among two dozen people seeking the 2020 presidential nomination.
I love it! I love it! They are just waaaay too stupid to stop. Yes, brilliant Elizabeth, this is how you run a Presidential campaign in the United States, you campaign to people in foreign countries. Say you know, I want to be President of the United states as well! Maybe I will start my campaign in outer Mongolia, speak to the Mongolian people about how I can improve their lives then onward to Papua New Guinea and talk to natives about their wants and desires! Surely I will win the election!
She needs to investigate herself for being a liar and taking a job away from someone who had the right DNA for it
Outer Mongolia is a beautiful place! Maybe when you start your campaign there, they will slaughter a sheep and boil its head in your honor, like some nomads did when I visited.
Seriously, leftist politicians claim to care so much, but have zero empathy for the working class whom they exploit shamelessly in their quest to buy votes and power. Warren is just one more to jump on that bandwagon. The irony is that the left used to have a slogan, “Power to the People!” I guess they’ve forgotten that.
She cannot be taken seriously as a candidate. Any place two miles away from the Harvard campus (outside of Brookline) this kind of talk is poison.

Does she mean like holding Hillary and Obama liable for their massing killings in Libya and Syria? We don’t need to investigate those, just turn those two fomenters of mass murder over to the international criminal court.

People live in their own bubbles. The hysterical Hillary voter cries, “But everyone I know voted for her!” And, that is doubtless true. The point is, the hysterical Hillary voter is isolated in her own world. She can vote for policies that harm middle America because she isn’t part of middle America and doesn’t even know anyone, who knows someone, who is a part of middle America. This is a candidate so surrounded by like-thinking bubbles that she believes they are the only bubbles. The question is: How many Left Coast bubbles are there compared to the number of Middle America bubbles?
Rhetoric, Threats and Violence - when do we wake up and say “You never longer govern by the will of the people”? This fake Congress continues to denigrate the US, violate their oath and encourage sedition.
