I thought the hoax had little impact on us in the US, then I found out about car air conditioning freon.
We used to us R12. But because it damaged the ozone layer, we went to something called R134a. But now because of global warming, they are switching to R1234YF.

So I should buy a case of R134a? Because if you own cars a long time, theyre probably going to ban it like they did R-12.
The reason R12 started harming the ozone layer is Duponts patents ran out.
And it’s flammable as well as costly.
