Nobody cares about that anymore. The probability that they will sacrifice WJC to protect the Crown Jewels is very high at this point, even if they have to frame him to do it.
This is a very important point, JN. The top derps will most certainly cut their losses off at a certain level to protect, as you say, the "crown jewels".
BC, and even HC, are easily sacrificed, though dangerous. HC has a lot of derp dirt and she's not afraid to use it.
