Yet both her husbands were geniuses - one in the writing field, the other an actor. Perhaps that is what the attraction was because neither of them were particularly good-looking although Steiger in his youth wasn’t too bad.

I still remember nervously eating at Longchamps before mid-term exams at Finch and as an extreme youth of 16 years, before meeting with the president of Finch, hoping to get accepted!

I loved The Young Republicans. Now I need The Alter Kocker Republicans.

Steiger was charismatic ( and one hell of an actor! ), but I never thought that he was attractive in any way, at any age.

I used to like eating at Longchamps, with my mother for lunch. They had Nesslerode Pie, which my father and I loved and which NOBODY has served since the early '60s; sadly! :-(

The Young Republicans was pretty Conservative, especially for NYC, when I was a member and yes, the other members were a VERY nice lot; back then!

LOL, now, I too would need something called the Alter Kocker GOPers!
