The ground is constantly shaking in southern California right now, and this has many concerned that another large earthquake may be coming. I have been keeping my eye on Cal Techs recent earthquake map, and as I write this article it says that there have been 10,053 earthquakes in California and Nevada over the past 7 days. I have never seen that number so high, and southern California is being hit by yet another new earthquake every few moments.
Most of the earthquakes are happening out in the Ridgecrest area where we witnessed the magnitude 6.4 earthquake that hit on July 4th and the magnitude 7.1 earthquake that hit on July 5th. But as you can see from Cal Techs map, there has been a tremendous amount of seismic activity along the San Andreas fault as well. As I discussed the other day, the San Andreas fault is locked and loaded and it is way overdue for the Big One. Could it be possible that all of this earthquake activity is leading up to something really big?

I can’t find the link, but it showed the map with a wave of small circles (representing earthquakes) spreading outward from Ridgecrest across the whole continent.
Probably not quick enough for some of the “post nazis” on here. LOL! Be vewy vewy caaful.
Yup, I agree.
Anti mining? I am nothing of the kind.
I only inquired if the earthquakes could be a problem for mining in Nevada.
How so many interpreted that as either me wanting to outsource mining or anti mining is beyond me.
Relax there partner.
I only asked questions. You are letting your imagination run amok here.
Well, come on over baby

Forget U-Haul.
Contact Penske. MUCH larger payload & MUCH lower costs.
Agreed.
But most likely Bubba & Edna already have an old U-Haul behind the barn.
I am trying to sell my current property in N Nevada & move to So Missouri.
Based upon quotes from U-Haul & Penske, I can state the following:
U-Haul = Largest truck has a payload of ONLY 7400#. I mad to call U-Haul Central to get that number. NO one locally knew what I was talking about !!!!!
I would need 2 of those largest trucks PLUS 2 enclosed trailers 12 X 6.
Penske payload = 17,000 per truck. Also more cubic feet because Penske doesn’t have ‘grandma’s attic’ above cab.
I can get all my items into 2 Penske trucks without needing additional trailers.
Quote for U-Haul — 2 trucks & 2 trailers = $5900
Quote for Penske trucks = $3500 for both including appliance dollys & all insurance available.
Bottom line:
Penske has 230% of the payload of the U-Haul trucks at 59% of the cost.
Also- Penske trucks have flat floor, no wheel well bumps-—and the roof is translucent—not like loading into a cave.
Hank Johnson is that you?!?!
Oh, sorry!
Well the Kalifornians understand this is all Trump’s fault
Good to know. Are the bed heights on Penske still about 5 ft high? The low ramp height has always been the attraction for U-Haul.
