Trump trashes 'lame duck failure' Paul Ryan in response to new criticisms

President Trump unleashed on Paul Ryan in a late-night tweetstorm in response to criticisms the former speaker made in an upcoming book.

In the book, "American Carnage," Ryan recalled his difficult working relationship with the president. He told Politico's Tim Alberta that Trump "didn't know anything about the government" and that he and others "helped to stop him from making bad decisions."

“Because, I’m telling you, he didn’t know anything about government . . . I wanted to scold him all the time," Ryan reportedly said in the book. “Those of us around him really helped to stop him from making bad decisions. All the time. We helped him make much better decisions, which were contrary to kind of what his knee-jerk reaction was. Now I think he’s making some of these knee-jerk reactions.”

Ryan and Romney are birds of a feather.

I bet so, Paul.

Trump despised unfettered globalism stripping the USA of it’s wealth to care for interests of elites and their swashbuckling billions of dollar global Foundations.
Thank God and Greyhound you’re gone, and Trump isn’t.

That twerp has the gall to criticize Trump? He blew 2 years of having all branches of government under GOP control, and instead of tackling some of the thorniest problems this country has, they couldn’t even get funding for a wall! If I were him, I would crawl under ground and hope people would forget about me. But of course, there is no shame in Washington critters, and he knows the media would love him to trash the President, so he does. It shows his low character like nothing else would. The same thing happened with George W. Bush. There’s another guy who our side thought was incompetent, but at least classy, until he started running his mouth like he never did about Obama!

Ryan was such a disappointment, a massive weakling, and an overall weasel. He should have resigned as House Speaker when he announced he wouldn’t run for reelection - about a year before the midterms. We could have held more House seats with a patriot & fighter who supported President Trump instead of a weak Eddie Munster.

If Republicans do take back the House in 2020 I sure hope they make a better choice of Speaker than they did last time.

I have my doubts they can make a better choice. The same dynamics that crushed both Boehner and Ryan are still active. The Republican majority will depend on a block of Republicans that are some combination of leftists, corruptly beholden to the deep state, and philosophically opposed to whatever particular plank of the party platform that is trying to be advanced that day. Remember that Ryan became speaker because he was one of the few there who was minimally acceptable to both the right and left wings of the Republican delegation in the House.

Seriously? Congress is it’s own branch of government. POTUS
can’t interfere with it. He can ask, but he doesn’t control that branch.

Ryan let Joe Biden walk all over him in a debate. Think about that.

Blame Trump? LOL... That’s not how the government works. Ryan’s failures are entirely his own.

I blame you for not having a clue how our government works. Take a class so you don’t embarrass yourself.

Paul Ryan thinks he is a wonk. Many people think he is a wank. The only difference is a few strokes of a pen.

Boycott both the Ryan and GWB books. It’s the least we can do.
