“Raw sales pitch for marijuana by Yahoo news.”
It’s already sold and will pass Congress easily. And will be signed by POTUS.
And much to your chagrin, there’s not a damn thing you can do about it.
AGGRESSIVE pothead, huh?
Just a friendly question because I am a bit unclear. If congress passes a bill legalizing weed, does that override all of the state laws and make it legal nationwide, or do the state laws remain? Gay marriage came about as a result of a Supreme Court ruling that nullified all the state laws on the books. I’m just wondering if this would be the same deal or if the law would need to make it through the myriad legal challenges that will surely ensue. I am guess it would be effective immediately based on it being a federal law but I am not sure.
I am directing this question to everyone, not just Mariner. Thanks all FRiends in advance for your help.
