You don’t know the Left very well if you think Crowley stands a chance at defeating her. They CRAVE power, and that’s what they see in her. They don’t see a nutcase, they see an activist taking on the top of an old, decrepit, power structure. Those are the people in her district.
In fact, that’s exactly why the Left was so sure Trump couldn’t win. They viewed him as a nutcase too...and had no clue as to how strongly he was connecting with the forgotten working class - even though he obviously did nothing to hide his rallies. But they still couldn’t get it, and still haven’t for that matter.
She should actually bankroll a primary challenger by an African-American lesbian woman . . THAT would be payback
