That it is a commentary, not news. but there isn’t much difference. In a local newspaper, at least the opinion page is identified as such to set the context.

That’s why I posted it under “editorial.” The article contains some hard facts, like incarceration numbers. But the Daily Caller displays OPINION right at the top of the article, which refers to the its main claim, which is that Cal. Dems are a major problem for Kamala.
