No. Fiber optics move a lot more data than radio waves, in general.

Satellites are easy to take out, we’ll be blinded in 5 minutes when and if the Russians (or Chinese, for that matter) want us to be.

Building a sub that works at 2000 feet below sea level is simply amazing (at least to me), and it’s probably even lower than our weapons can reach.

Satellite communications have way too much lag, you need fiber to be a serious gamer.

For Public We are slowly getting there.

The Military has MILSTAR and I would think by now building a newer, better, faster and more Secure System that makes MILSTAR look like a Manual Typewriter.
