We should have dealt with Islam while we had a chance right after 9/11. We blew it royally. Who would think we would have scum like her running around spouting her BS and those just like her in our government?
Yes we did , but is wasn't the people who pay the taxes and actually fight the wars. GWB (spit) from the first day almost with his ‘religion of peace’ crap and having the US government actually aid and assist Saudis who even the dopey FBI had enough phone tap info to know they were involved in funding parts of the attack, in getting out of the country when no one else could fly. Bush 2 and his clan have profited directly and indirectly from their relationship with the House of Saud . Much of our response was keyed to protecting the position of the rich but weak Kingdom in the half hearted ‘War on Terrorism’ that followed. Not to mention the degree of Saudi influence in trying to control events through the US government after the fall of Saddam. Yes the US blew it but it was our political class and foreign, defense and intelligence establishments who betrayed the average American and spent over a trillion dollars to help further enrich their friends and associates in the Kingdom and around the world.
