Tom Steyer is a climate-change fanatic in a party of climate-change fanatics, so all he’d have to do to become a major candidate is adapt the Democrats’ “We’re all gonna die in eleven years if climate change is not addressed!” to “We’re all gonna die in eleven years unless you elect ME to address climate change!”
But can an egomaniac stick to a single topic when microphone after microphone is pushed into his face, urging him to bloviate and make a fool of himself on every topic imaginable? No.
