Too bad. I was rooting against them. One by one they’ve been joining that Rapinoe wench in talking trash about Trump.

I know what lesbians are doing tonight.

So now what? Will they bitch about Trump and make their political statement?
Does anyone have respect for the presidency, apart from whoever is president at any given time?
How in the sam hill did sports get so politicized in the first place? So now we have to be liberal to watch women’s soccer???
To: Hojczyk
I wanted to root for them but I just couldn’t. The disgusting behavior of some of them ruined it for me.

They were the better team, and for the non-political ones I am happy.
The team needs to get rid of any scent of politics. It didn't take any intellectual thinking on my part to be against the team. I was just against them as soon as I heard the politics, and even more so when my friends 9 year girl, who's good at soccer, started talking about equal pay. It's not her fault ... but it's very bad. Must stop!

In women's tennis soccer, I always root against the heterosexual.

Well to be fair. It is soccer. And women's soccer at that which makes it doubly pointless to watch.

There's no way that the President should be inviting athletes to the White House. If any outstanding athlete (or group of athletes) want to go they should make a request and DJT may,or may not,get back to them.

The left has politicized EVERYTHING.
It’s all part of the plan.

Off topic but what about their protests about getting equal pay for the women’s soccer players?
I know nothing of how the World Cup generates revenue, in order to pay players. But, just wondering if women’s soccer, or women’s sports in general, attract the same attention.
Anecdotal evidence :
I have attended many college basketball games at San Diego State. It’s just one place, and one sport. But the men’s team will easily draw 12,000 fans to the games, while the women’s basketball team often draws fewer than 1,000. A good crowd for the women would be 2,000.
I’ve heard the WNBA has a similar attendance disparity between their attendance and the NBA.
They can talk about equality and all that, but if the women don’t generate equal revenue, the revenue needed to pay them in the first place, how do they expect to get paid equally with the men?
