President Donald Trump has every reason to kick back with a Big Mac and some Cristal this July 4th holiday weekend and toast the economic sweet spot he finds himself in right now.
The presidents ongoing trade war with China hasnt hammered the U.S. labor market (see the out of the blue strong June jobs report). Stock prices are hovering near record highs. And Wall Street still expects the Federal Reserve to cut interest rates at its next meeting (despite that strong jobs report) to juice the economy after a first quarter soft patch.
Can it get any better at the moment for the Commander-in-Chief (and any worse for the Democrats trying to unseat him)? Probably not.

The treason media isn't reporting the tremendous support Trump is getting....Denial is a river, as in the media will be crying me a river when Trump is reelected despite their bias. The media can ignore and lament a great 4th celebration, but voters didn't and wanted to celebrate with Trump.

A buddy who is retired from a company that makes equipment for the steel industry says he can hardly recognize his old shop, it’s expanding and hiring people on a scale never seen before. All because of Trump’s economy and decision to save the US steel industry.

Another example of our incompetent media.....no wonder people don’t trust them. They can”t even get SIMPLE details right.........Every blue collar working American knows that Trump is a quarter-pounder guy. Not a Big-Mac.”

Sectors with the most notable job gains in June included the professional and business services, health care and transportation and warehousing sectors. Manufacturing employment surged in June, with 17,000 positions created despite trade war-related new order weakness in various manufacturing surveys. Economists were predicting 3,000 jobs added in the sector.
Those are good paying jobs...

I was thinking, maybe since Trump has tied the economy to national security he is getting very detailed economic reports on a very regular basis and he is tailoring his actions to achieve the numbers he feels he needs to negotiate and stay strong on the world stage. He keeps hitting sweet spots and that’s not accidental

I agree. A phased ending of the income tax--a Forbes-style flat tax for around three years then a complete switch to something like FairTax--would permanently supercharge the US economy.
