Trump chose to stop Syria from lawfully importing oil...... This particular tanker has two counts against it. It's carrying oil from Iran, which is under embargo by the US and others.. Legal. It's believed to be taking oil to a refinery controlled by the Abbas government, which is under embargo by the EU and others. Legal.
