Serious mental illness or bizarre personality disorders affect about 10% of the general population. However such conditions can be identified in 25-30% of elected public officials. The Libertarians are independent minded people who believe in principles and want actions taken to reflect those principles.
People like Amash are sick and tired of massive spending and ask why aren’t we out of foreign countries like Afghanistan.

All the debt keeps us dependent on foreign money sources like Japan, China, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
I cringe every time I hear the praise of Saudi Arabia from the President of the United States I voted for to make things different.
