There’s nothing wrong with being a survivalist or suspicious of a Leftist government. Last century more people were murdered by their own Leftist government than by war. Fact. So when Leftists make a play on the US what sane person wouldn’t prepare to survive that? The kooks are the ones who listen to Leftist MSM, Leftist Hollywood and Leftist social media and think Leftism won’t negatively impact their lives.
