“Erdogan’s threat to attack Libya’s most militarily potent faction, the Libyan National Army.”
Let me tee up who is on which side.
The Libyan National Army are pro-American. Their leader lived for many years in Northern Virginia, and worked with the CIA. Supporting the LNA is the anti-Muslim Brotherhood coalition of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
On the other side is ISIS (whose large oil holdings in Libya were taken by the LNA), the Muslim Brotherhood, Turkey, and a smattering of islamist front groups (local surrogates of Turkey and the Muslim Brotherhood).
Smokem if you’ve got em.
It is time for at Turkey roast.
