The shame is not on the phony heroes. they have always been with us. Jesse Smollett, The Ford lady with the Kavanagh hearing, The Duke Lacrosse Team accuser, etc They are everywhere all of the time.
The problem is the idiotic press/media that will publish anything so long as the story meets their political agenda, i.e., liberal, progressive, anti Trump.
So again we have the FAKE NEWS going off after a story that is as phony as they come. Lies, Liars, and Liberals.

Bravo!! You got it. If it’s a slow day they can always retract their lies on the last page of their rag or in fast moving credits on TV. And as they sight the first amendment to get out of jail free for their lies they forget the eighth commandment used by the Roman Catholics and the Lutherans: “Thou shalt not bear false witness.” My how soon they forget.
