“Today, Tennessee becomes the 19th state to make de facto criminals out of a significant percentage of its citizens by passing a law that makes it illegal for anyone to touch a cell phone while driving.”

Good for TN! I have been rear-ended TWICE by dumbass kids playing with their ****ing cell phones!

Yes, distracted kids can be an issue. I was nearly hit myself by a young girl in a new Lexus. She was so engrossed in her phone that the vehicle entered my lane and continued to push me (on my motorcycle) to the shoulder, when I finally gave up on shouting and the horn, and KICKED the passenger’s door hard enough to dent it.

The look on her face was priceless. She evidently had forgotten she was driving!

I’ll bet she had a good time trying to explain the dent in the car door to daddy.
