I worked construction as a teen, and handled a shovel at every pour. Getting cement on me was, as you say, as eventful as mud.
I never tried putting it in my eyes, though. I bet I’d hate it when I did that.

It contains limestone. Go take some quick lime and splash it in your eyes. It is caustic and it can blind you.
Getting it on your hands is no big deal. But that’s not what they are doing.

“Police have received information that some of the milkshakes thrown today during the demonstration contained quick-drying cement. We are encouraging anyone hit with a substance today to report it to the police.”
