I agree with Starboard. I don't ever agree with AOC, but it makes me cringe when President Trump allows Ivanka to perform functions that would ordinarily be done by qualified personnel not in his immediate family.

In general I don’t think its a good idea to get presidential family members involved in their administration. If a Democrat did something like this we would no doubt be outraged by it, so I have to be objective about it.

Aside from family helping out on campaigns I think a president should rely on his team of experienced professional advisors who are subject matter experts. The country needs their expertise. Just my opinion.
