As an observation to my Portland comment it’s the idiot politicians they elect that screws the rest of the state. CA, OR, WA, big cities just keep electing the BUTT MONKEYS at some point you just have to say “you built your crap bed” sleep in it.

While I'm visiting the one somewhat sane coastal California city, I'm also highly aware that it's sane because of an enormous military presence, in space, people, and capabilities. While I've seen quite a few of those who are mentally ill as homeless, there is also a slight madness for those who are paying the taxes to keep the lights on and the roads paved. (It also has an R mayor which might explain things too.)
I wouldn't want to live here but for a visit it's ok.

Right! I still love the Rogue Brewhouse, and the absence of sales tax, but that’s about it. More freaky people there than anywhere in the USA.

In light of the level of cheating uncovered in the last election, ballot harvesting, illegals voting, exc... Were these rats legitimately elected?
