Cookie-cutter conservative males I knew used to denounce me as a feminist, because I treated women with respect as equals.
I now find it ironic, since I never owned feminist ideology, and am actually more a proponent of Natural Law than they ever were.
(I assume many on both sides would find my assertions objectionable; I no longer care what anyone else thinks.)
