Exactly correct: While this is a general statement not applicable to all, many gays (etc.) are dysfunctional, fairly obviously, in other ways too. Then as far as their LGBTQ-whatever behavior goes, if evident, I think there is something very fundamental at an instinctual level regarding the biological dysfunction: Gaying it up is NOT exactly something that helps the species (or tribe) survive. That may not be as big a factor now, but, it was “huge” for a lot longer than the history of homo sapiens. Heck, I received a lot of suspicion and disapproval simply for not marrying in my 20’s, and it wasn’t gayness: I was just a shy geek who also got burned early on & didn’t recover well. Somewhere in the DNA of most of us, there are a few atoms trying to “tell” us sub-consciously that non-reproducers or other such oddities are not a good bet for the species.
Blatant exposition of such non-beneficial behavior pushes “normals” away.
