This is a New York Times story based on a leak by an anonymous official. It may or may not be true.
Is this the same guy who leaked the ICE raid info to sanctuary cities? If so, I’d be inclined to say good riddance.
Are they this concerned about the millions of homeless AMERICANS who need medical treatment?
Yeah, they’d be much better off south of the border so crank up the busses.
I think we have found one of the leaks
Where are they supposed to go?
“Public fury”? I guess I missed that, except from the usual suspects, none of whom was “furious” when mullah Baraq was doing the same thing.
The pattern is that a few weeks after some real screwup, like the “Roundup Leak” the bad guy departs. “You’re Fired”. Of course it’s blamed on other things.
I don’t pretend to like DJT, but I’m in favor of the vast majority of what he’s doing. It ain’t rocket science. What is rocket science is DJT escaping the alligators at his heels 24/7 for 2+ years straight.

So...STFU!
This has got to end....
>>> continuing public fury over the treatment of detained migrant children. <<<
BS. The fury is we are still being invaded and were not even deporting illegals ordered deported by a judge. LOCK IT DOWN & KICK EM THE HELL OUT!
I don’t give a rat’s backside what happens to these invading parasites or their kids. They don’t either or they would not drag their kids over thousands of miles of desert.
I care about the kids. Unless they are unaccompanied teens they had no choice in the matter. They are victims of serious neglect or abuse.
However I dont as an American think this is my fault.
It is the fault of the parents, or the coyotes, or the exploiters, or even perhaps sometimes liars who give false information to naive
parents.
Best they are not physically here at all. But if they are here we must do right by them. That does not mean somehow make them automatic citizens. But repatriate responsibly, to proper parents or to lawful authorities that will look out for them as citizens of whatever country they are from.
“...the governments primary border enforcement executive...”
That description right there shows it is definitely not true because we have no border enforcement. Now, he may have some kind of position, but no job...
Many of these kids were being brought in as sex slaves for the pedophile Johns in America. Their “parents” were operating for the drug cartels who are trying to open up a new market for the American dollar.
I don’t think they become our responsibility just because their illegal alien parasite parents drag them here. Doing “right” by them should consist of returning them to the other side of the border at their point of entry as quickly as possible, preferably hundreds of miles on the other side of the border. I don’t care what happens to any of these invaders or how much it sucks for them. They could have avoided any unpleasantness inflicted on them by staying in their sh*thole of origin.
They're either from Mexico or they passed through Mexico without being stopped so, drop them in the nearest Mexican city, that's where they supposed to go and let the Mexicans clean up the mess they created.
They should go back to their homes. They have sufficient food in our detention facilities. Yes they get fed the same thing over and over again burritos, cheese crackers, juice and water. It may get old and it may not taste great but it is sufficient. We do not have clothing for them, I dont know why we would be expected to have it. Nobody invited them here, if they want a change of clothing than they should bring it. We already provide shelter, food, medical care and yes we do provide showers although they dont get one everyday.
You are correct we dont enforce the border because we cant stop anyone from crossing. It is the most frustrating part of being a border patrol agent.
