Fox was situated opposite several vocal hyper-leftist organizations. Don’t think it was a damning idea to put the opposing view on TV, because you NEVER get that viewpoint from the other sources. My guess is he is not as much of a “straight news” guy as he holds himself out to be. Otherwise, a little bit of over-compensation would not have bothered him.
He sounds like he doesn’t believe the left will eat him alive because his position is that “the facts matter” and that it isn’t about “left or right”.
He’s going to have a rude awakening.
