Well, folks, I guess you’ll have to do something about your leadership then.... so that we do not have to. That’s kind of the entire point of the sanctions. Make them change their behaviors, or else change your leadership... or else keep dealing with the consequences of inaction.

Yes, however many decades it was ago, they all couldn’t wait to kill the Shah and bring back the exiled Ayatollah Kohmeini. So I haven’t a scintilla of compassion for any of them. They should be hoping today, that their “leadership choices” don’t end up getting all of them killed!
