On the other hand, it might have been deliberately leaked by the administration as a psy op, whether true or not.I understand that that is a possibility but given Trump's disdain for the press, especially the NYTimes and WaPo, I feel like the odds go way down that he would use them for that. I wouldn't rule it out though. PDJT will do whatever he thinks will be most effective for his primary goals in any given situation.
