China has a social credit score. If its to low you can’t find a job, get on an airplane or train, etc.
We probably have one but just don’t know it (yet).

Actually, we’re now starting to get a form of it through the College Board. While technically not part of government, potential students are now given a secret “Adversity Score” based on the sins of their parents - such as making too much money or living in nice area, or even not being divorced.
So, yes, we’re well on our way now.
