I.E. The limited SALT Deduction.
People aren’t blaming the High Tax States they live in for the increased Tax Burden, they ae blaming Republicans and POTUS Trump for passing the Tax Bill.
I still believe it played a part in us losing the House and not gaining more Seats in the Senate. We should have had 55, not 53.
Yes, I know that the Russian Hoax and the 40 plus House GOP Retirements played a role as well.
I still think the SALT Deduction should have been at least $20,000, not the $10,000 that made it to the final Tax Bill.
The problem with liberal logic is liberals lie to themselves as readily as they lie to others. They tell themselves the policies they pursue have to work (because they are so smart) in spite of clear and available evidence that indicated otherwise. If they don’t work it is because the ideas or policies aren’t lefty enough and need more controlling lefty tweaking in order to make it work.
There are two types of liberals, evil ones and stupid ones. The evil ones want control at any cost. They lie, manipulate and deceive in order to further their agenda. The stupid ones buy into the deceit and lies. The really stupid ones are the highly vocal ones that will go to battle over their misguided causes.
I still think the SALT Deduction should have been at least $20,000, not the $10,000 that made it to the final Tax Bill.

Since there are now fewer people itemizing deductions, it should be possible next time to reduce the SALT deduction ceiling to $5,000 or, better yet, eliminate it entirely.
