Hope Hicks, the former White House communications director and one of President Donald Trump's closest aides, was questioned behind closed doors on Wednesday before the House Judiciary Committee as part of the committee's ongoing investigation into potential obstruction of justice by the president.
Shortly after Hicks arrived, the Democratic chairman, Rep. Jerry Nadler of New York, emerged to tell reporters that Hicks was "answering questions put to her" in the committee interview.
But later, while Hicks was still facing questions, other Democrats coming in and out of the room didn't appear satisfied with her answers. While she was answering questions about her time on the campaign, they said, she was not answering any questions about her time at the White House.
A source in the room confirmed that Hicks said she had no knowledge of hush money payments during the 2016 campaign to women who claimed they'd had an affair with Trump, but wouldn’t discuss what she learned about them during her White House service. Trump has denied the affairs.

Trump just said on Hannity that two congressmen were taking pictures of Hope Hicks with their cell phones while she was testifying and then posting the pictures of her.

Nadler was heavier than 400 before surgery.

If EVERY member of Congress, both House and Senate, were DemocRATS, it would still be impossible for Hope Hicks to be anything but NOT GUILTY. And the ‘RATS will never be able to change that.

I would literally die laughing if President Trump tweeted out to Nadler that he should recuse himself from his witch hunt because he has never gotten over being called out as fat.
“Jerry Nadler, a fine gentleman, must recuse himself from his own witch hunt because he has never forgiven me for calling him “Fat Jerry” decades ago. He has lost weight since, maybe he should thank me for the truth-bomb!
I know what I weigh and I see him. He’s heavier, a lot, than 400.
Her attorney should have made them do this out in the open. What about transparency in government.
They are going to release the transcripts within the next day or two. What’s the problem?
Hicks was in the communication office. She knows HOW to communicate. I’ll bet Trump gave her permission to go in there just so the dems on the committee end up looking like obsessed idiots.
