There is a whole segment of the population that is living in a fantasy world created by corrupt Hollywood.

Indeed.

Ann Coulter has lost a lot of fans because of her weird passion for Romney, and maniacal wall-rage.

But she is still a brilliant and provocative commentator.

Glad. Etflox is going the way of Blckbusters once Disney streaming comes on. They won’t have any content to stream since Disney owns the monopoly on entertainment

Also, Yusef Salaam claims the confessions were coerced by denying food, water, sleep, bathroom privileges and beatings. The problem with this claim is the tapes. Nobody looks beaten or sleep deprived. The tapes were made approximately 30 hours after initial arrests and there are no marks, black eyes, broken noses, puffed faces etc.

Further, there was a re-investigation of the case by Police Commissioner Ray Kelly after Metias Reyes confessed to the rape in 2002. This investigation was headed up by Michael Armstrong, former lead counsel on the Knapp Commission that investigated the “Serpico” allegations of corruption in the NYPD during the late 1960s. Also on this commission was Jules Martin, attorney and Vice President of NYU. The Armstrong report found no police misconduct and the confessions were voluntary.

And even though DA Robert Morgenthou and Deputy DA Nancy Ryan were instrumental in vacating the convictions in 2002 they also found no police or prosecutorial misconduct.

It is a travesty to reward the criminals with $44.9 million (41 from NY City plus 3.9 from NY State) for violent crimes and then make them civil rights heroes.

Ann is right on the money here. Kudos to her.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Park_jogger_case

Central Park jogger case

None of the suspects' DNA matched the DNA from two semen samples found on and close to the victim, which both belonged to the same unidentified man, a fact stated by an FBI witness in the first of the two trials. There was no substantive physical evidence connecting the five teenagers to the rape scene

In 2001, Matias Reyes, a convicted murderer and serial rapist who was serving life in prison, confessed to officials that he had raped the female jogger. His DNA matched the two samples found on and near the rape victim, and there was other confirmatory evidence. He said he committed the rape alone.

She exposes Roe v. Wade and Anti-McCarthyism in her books. That is something too few professing conservatives have done.
